About Dr. Manouel

Dr. Mehran Manouel serves as the practice's chief medical director and is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than two decades of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, and pursued a competitive sports medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Throughout his career, Dr. Manouel has cared for elite-level athletes — including former Houston Oilers, Houston Rockets, and Houston Astros players — and previously served as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he trained orthopedic surgery residents and interns.

His clinical focus is arthroscopic surgery, with particular expertise in rotator cuff repair and ACL reconstruction. He treats a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and is known for guiding athletes back to peak performance. Dr. Manouel holds Active Fellow status with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and sees patients in English, Hebrew, and Farsi.
